Licenses:  Current BLS/ACLS and Certification for Surgical Tech.

Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Tech experience preferred.  Computer skills required.  You will be required to work extended hours if case load requires. You must live within 30 minutes of Mizell Memorial Hospital due to call status.
	
Duties Include:   Will cross train in endoscope, OR and central.  On various surgeries will perform as Surgical Tech or Assistant.  Good IV skills are preferred, familiar with surgical instruments and sterile field, and medication knowledge is critical for completion of admission records.   Provides for the patient and family’s education on discharge planning.  Teamwork and critical thinking skills are essential.  Maintain a good working relationship among staff, co-workers and customers.  Good people and communication skills are required.  Must possess and help implement a positive attitude.  Perform other duties as required.

Provide occupational therapy treatments and procedures as directed.  The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) will be to assist the Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) in providing rehabilitation therapy t patients of all ages with various disabilities and conditions, assist in development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, direct activity programs and document the progress of treatment, in accordance with state law.
