Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent. One to two years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including basic knowledge of electricity, mechanical equipment, HVAC and plumbing. Must be willing to take “call” and prefer that you live within 20-30 minutes of Opp, AL. Computer experience required. Current driver’s license required.
Duties Include: The daily operation and inspection of all mechanical systems, PM’s, renovation, and work order scheduling as to priorities, safety regulations, care of tools and equipment and judicious use of materials, supplies, and man-hours. Ability to work under emergency conditions and in difficult situations, and with due consideration for patients in vicinity. Manual duties will be required. Other duties, not limited to plant operations and maintenance, as assigned or directed by persons having authority by position or assignment by the Administrator.
