Mitchell Myers, MSN, RN

Chief Executive Officer

Mitchell Myers is a native of Covington County and graduate of Straughn High School. Mitchell has served in significant leadership roles over the past years at Mizell Memorial Hospital (MMH). Mitchell is passionate about rural healthcare and establishing stable access to care for underserved citizens. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences and minor in Biology. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. Mitchell has a history of being a healthcare leader with great results in employee satisfaction, employee recruitment, clinical collaboration, revenue improvement, and providing quality patient healthcare in a kind, compassionate manner to our community. Mitchell and his wife, Heather, have two children, Lora-Leigh and Zeke.

Brennen Bowen, MSHA, RT (R)(ARRT)

Chief Operating Officer

Brennen is a Henry County, Alabama native and has served in various leadership roles over the past 15 year at multiple healthcare organizations.

A 2006 Headland High School alumnus, Brennen is a graduate of the Wallace Community College in Dothan where he received his Associates in Applied Sciences degree in Radiologic Technology and Associates degree in Biology. He also received Bachelor of Business Administration in Global Business Management degree from Troy University and Master of Science in Health Administration degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

He has a history of being a well-rounded healthcare leader with special interests in employee engagement and satisfaction, multi-clinical relationship building, LEAN/SIX SIGMA waste reduction, new service-line implementation and providing quality patient healthcare to members of the community. Brennen and his wife, Ariel, have one child, Barrett.

Jana Wyatt

Chief Financial Officer

Jana Wyatt was born in Opp, AL in 1969 and is a graduate of Opp High School. Jana and her husband, Tim, have two daughters, Anna and Ashlyn. She is a graduate of Auburn University in Montgomery where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Jana also received her MBA from Troy University. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare accounting and finance.

Autumn Jones, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Autumn has spent her life in Florala, Alabama. After graduating from Florala High School in 1994, she worked as a CNA for several years. Autumn completed LPN training in 2005 and her RN in 2009. All of this time, Autumn worked full-time at North Okaloosa Medical Center while raising her son, Drew. In 2008, Autumn began to work full-time at the hospital in Florala, while remaining part-time at North Okaloosa. When the hospital in Florala closed its doors in 2013, Autumn joined our Mizell family as an ER Nurse. Autumn has held several positions in her 9 years with Mizell including ER/ICU Manager, Assistant CNO, and most recently was promoted to CNO.

In her spare time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her husband, Anthony, their children and grandchildren. Autumn is a member of Lockhart Baptist Church where she teaches Sunday School and the KICK Program on Wednesday nights. Autumn's heart for her patients, coworkers, and community is evident in her daily life, especially as she leads Mizell's nursing staff.
