Lab Manager
Laboratory: Manager
Full Time (Salaried Position)
Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent, or four to ten years related experience
and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a licensed MT.
Duties Include: Develop, monitor and adjust operating budget. Order supplies and
equipment. Evaluate and promote new test procedures and equipment.
Work with physicians and hospital management personnel. Develop
out-reach programs. Recruit, hire, evaluate, counsel and terminate staff.
Participate in community and public relations activities. Actively
represent Laboratory to customers and potential customers. Also,
perform clinical laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, coagulation,
blood bank, analysis of body fluids and microbiology; collect
blood specimens, operate Lab Information System (LIS); as needed.
